Replacing the unsympathetic 1960’s extension with a new roof extension to provide additional office accommodation, a glazed rooflight and terraces.
Enhancing the building’s entrances and the arrival experience for office users and visitors.
Promoting an active building through the design of the interior, including a new feature staircase and atria to bring light into the building.
Improving the building’s relationship with the surrounding streetscape with the potential to introduce public art on the Smith Square corner of the building.
Introducing accessible terraces and greening on the upper floors of the building.
